Courtesy call by Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers on Ambassador Shikata

On 25 August, Ambassador Noriyuki Shikata received a courtesy call from two Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) who recently arrived in Malaysia to begin their assignments..
Among the volunteers, Ms. Urara Kakinuma will engage in Welfare for Persons with Disabilities in Kuala Lumpur; Ms. Nao Shimada will engage in Welfare for Persons with Disabilities in Negeri Sembilan.
During the meeting, Ambassador Shikata encouraged them to do their best in their respective roles and to build strong networks within the local community throughout their tenure in Malaysia.
