On 22nd November, Ambassador Oka paid a courtesy call on YB Tuan Lim Guan Eng, Minister of Finance, and exchanged views on various ways to further strengthen bilateral relationship. YB Lim expressed his intension to enhance Japan/Malaysia relations and his desire for more Japanese companies as well as Japanese people to come to Malaysia, a wish he said is also shared by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir.
