Celebration of Tan Sri Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz’s award of The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star

On Sunday, the 22nd of April, Ambassador Miyagawa held a celebration for Tan Sri Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz, former Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), on her award of The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star in the 2017 Autumn Conferment of Decoration on Foreign Nationals, at the Ambassador’s Official Residence. Tan Sri Dr. Zeti served as Governor of BNM from 2000 to 2016 and significantly contributed to the stability and development of the financial and capital markets in the East Asia region including Japan. The Sultan of Perak, His Royal Highness Sultan Nazrin Shah also attended the cerebration.
