Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) destroyer JS SAMIDARE and the Royal Malaysian Navy conduct the third bilateral exercise.

On the 23rd and 25th November, the JMSDF destroyer JS SAMIDARE conducted a bilateral exercise with the Royal Malaysian Navy in the Straits of Malacca and Port Klang.
Through this Bilateral Exercise in both the offshore phase and the port phase, the JMSDF strengthened cooperation with the Royal Malaysian Navy. Japan will continue to cooperate with Malaysia to contribute to maritime security in the region under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Japan and Malaysia.
