On the 27th of January, Ambassador Takahashi paid a call on Dr. Adina binti Kamarudin, Director General of Maritime Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
During the meeting, Ambassador Takahashi stated that Japan would like to further promote cooperation under the ASEAN Outlook on Indo-Pacific (AOIP) with Malaysia, especially in the field of safety of navigation and maritime law enforcement, third country cooperation in Malaysia, and addressing marine plastic litter.
