On 22nd February, Ambassador Takahashi paid a courtesy call on YB Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad, Minister of Health.
Both parties exchanged their views on the way to enhance the cooperation in areas such as medicine, food safety and infectious diseases countermeasures based on Comprehensive Strategic Patnership (CSP) agreed by Prime Ministers of both countries last December. They also agreed to strengthen cooperation between Japan and Malaysia in order to solve various health issues by sharing expertise with each other.
