2022/3/28
PAMAJA, an alumni body of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Young Leaders Program in Japan, organised Post-Flood Relief Missions from 22 to 24 March and distributed essential goods and donations to the people affected by the recent floods in Terengganu and Kelantan. PAMAJA collected donations among PAMAJA members and other communities to carry out the missions.

On 24th March, our Embassy staff also participated in the Post-Flood Relief Mission in Kelantan. Japan has been actively working to share its experiences and expertise globally to contribute towards reducing the negative impact of disasters. As a follow-up to the devastating floods, Japan will enhance cooperation with Malaysia in the field of disaster risk management as a follow-up to the devastating floods.
