Virtual Conference “Balancing Priorities of the Indo-Pacific: Connectivity and Prosperity”

On 21 October, cooperating with Embassy of Japan in Malaysia and the Australian High Commission Malaysia, Maritime Institute of Malaysia (MIMA) held the Virtual Conference titled “Balancing Priorities of the Indo-Pacific: Connectivity and Prosperity” in an online form.
In this conference, experts from Japan, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, the United States and Singapore joined via online and discussed how countries in the region can work together for promotion of fundamental values such as rule of law, transparency and openness, and cooperate in the areas of maritime, security, economy and trade, improvement of connectivity and revitalization of the economy, for achieving peace and prosperity in the region under frameworks including Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP) and ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP) in the Indo-Pacific region.
