2021 Spring Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals

On April 29, the Government of Japan announced foreign national recipients of Decorations by Emperor of Japan for the 2021 spring conferment. The following five persons are the recipients from the area of the Embassy’s jurisdiction.

* Former Head of the Malaysia-Japan Research Centre at the University of Malaya
* Former Secretary-General of the Malaysian Association of Japanese Studies (MAJAS)
Services: Contributed to promoting the academic exchange and mutual understanding between Japan and Malaysia.
