2024 Spring Conferment of Decorations

On the 29th of April, the Government of Japan announced recipients of decorations for the 2024 Spring Imperial Conferment. Among the recipients, the following are the dignitaries within the area of jurisdiction of the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia, who receive decorations for their outstanding contributions to Japan-Malaysia relationships:
1. Dato’Sri Mustapa bin Mohamed
*Former Minister of International Trade and Industry Malaysia
*Former Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economics)
Services: Contributed to strengthening relations between Japan and Malaysia in the economic field
Decoration: Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun
