Courtesy call on Minister of Environment and Water

On 28th July, Ambassador Oka paid a courtesy call on Y.B. Dato’ Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, Minister of Environment and Water. At the meeting, Ambassador Oka exchanged views on cooperation in the water resources management sector including the “Pahang-Selangor Raw Water Transfer Project” which was supported by Japanese Official Development Assistance (ODA). They also discussed cooperation in the environmental sector such as waste management and global warming countermeasures between Japan and Malaysia.
