Ambassador Takahashi’s visit to HOKTO Malaysia Sdn Bhd

On 24 November, Ambassador Takahashi and his wife visited HOKTO Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
 
HOKTO Malaysia is a subsidiary of HOKTO Corporation in Japan and produces mushrooms at its factory in Negeri Sembilan. Their products are sold in Malaysia and other ASEAN countries including Singapore.
 
At the factory, 'BUNASHIMEJI' and 'BUNAPI' mushrooms are grown without pesticides in cultivation rooms where temperature, humidity and other factors are appropriately controlled. HOKTO pays utmost attention to safety and quality utilising advanced Japanese technology.
 
These mushrooms, which are carefully cultivated, are gaining popularity in Malaysia due to their excellent texture and taste as well as the growing number of health conscious Malaysians.
 
HOKTO contributes to the development of a healthy and diverse food culture, creation of jobs and a stable food supply in Malaysia through the production of mushrooms.
