Conferment Ceremony of the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold Rays with Rosette for Mr. Watanabe Junichi

On March 24, the Embassy of Japan hosted a conferment ceremony for Mr. Watanabe Junichi, Former Head of Japanese Teachers, AAJ (Special Preparatory Program to enter Japanese universities), Centre for Foundation Studies in Science, Universiti Malaya, who received The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold Rays with Rosette, as 2021 Autumn Conferment of Decorations for Japanese recipients.
For the past 19 years, Mr. Watanabe has contributed immensely in promoting Japanese language education in Malaysia. He taught around 1,500 students at AAJ and sent them to Japan. In addition, he contributed to the establishment of Japanese language and Japanese studies courses at Universiti Malaya.
