Ambassador Shikata Attends the "Kirameku Tosa no Kai"

Ambassador Shikata Noriyuki attended the “Kirameku Tosa no Kai,” hosted by the Kochi Ambitious Association, held at Kampachi (EQ Hotel, Kuala Lumpur) on March 25.
At the event, a video message was delivered by Governor Hamada Seiji of Kochi Prefecture. In addition, a producer from “Kamenoko Farm” in Kochi Prefecture visited and introduced organically grown green peppers.
Organic vegetables such as carrots, taro, and tomatoes were also showcased at the venue and served as part of Japanese cuisine. Organic vegetables from Kochi Prefecture are notably sweet and possess an appeal that makes them suitable for a wide variety of dishes.
Furthermore, officials from Kuala Lumpur City Hall and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, as well as representatives of Japanese companies in the region, attended the event, which was held with great success.
