Ambassador Takahashi paid a courtesy call to the new Director General of MMEA

On the 22nd of November, Ambassador Takahashi paid a courtesy call on Admiral (Maritime) Datuk Hamid, the new Director General of Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).
In this courtesy call, Ambassador Takahashi underscored the importance of the partnership between Malaysia and Japan and also expressed Japan’s willingness to continue its cooperation with Malaysia such as the Third country Training Program (TCTP) for maritime safety and security. Admiral Datuk Hamid expressed appreciation for Japan’s support and showed his resolve to make efforts for the law enforcement and safety of ships in Malaysian waters.
Ambassador Takahashi and Admiral Datuk Hamid also discussed the cooperation on maritime security between Malaysia and Japan.
