Aomori Nebuta Lecture and Workshop

The Embassy of Japan organized “Aomori Nebuta Lecture and Workshop” in collaboration with Galeri Petronas on 27 October and Royal Museum on 28 October. We invited Mr. Shunichi Kitamura, Nebuta artist, from Aomori, Japan.
Mr. Kitamura talked on the details about “Nebuta”, float for one of the Japanese summer festivals, including its history and production process in front of large audience. After the lecture, the participants had a chance to create small Nebuta lanterns and enjoyed learning more about the Japanese culture.
