Start of Employment
Regular Working Hours
8:30am – 4:30pm on weekdays (lunch break: 12:30pm – 1:30pm), except for the Embassy’s closing days
Salary
• To be determined in accordance with the Embassy’s regulations based on education background, experience and other abilities

- Assisting officers at Japan Information Service
- General office administration for Japan Information Service
- Managing cultural items such as PR materials/supplies
- Responding to enquiries (e-mail, telephone)
- Coordinating the distribution of Japan-related magazines, Ikebana calendar
- Monitoring online newspapers
- Assisting Embassy’s website and social media including Facebook and Instagram
Requirements
- To be a Malaysian citizen (or possess a long-term visa with work permission in Malaysia such as permanent resident, resident pass or Malaysian spouse visa pass, etc)
- To be fluent in English for daily tasks (additional fluency in Malay and/or Chinese is preferable)
- To have N3 level of proficiency in Japanese language
- To have standard office work IT literacy (Word, Excel, etc)
- Preferably to possess experience or knowledge in social media and/or PR (e.g. short PR video)
Start of Employment
- Mid-February 2025 onwards (specific starting date to be decided upon discussion)
