The Embassy of Japan in Malaysia is recruiting a local staff member (maternity leave replacement) for the Political Section as follows

1. Job Description
Assisting with political and diplomatic affairs
2. Qualifications
(1) Must be a Malaysian national
(2) Must have English language proficiency to perform regular duties (Japanese language proficiency is desirable)
(3) Must have basic knowledge or interest in political and diplomatic affairs
(4) Must have PC skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
3. Employment Period
Early May to early August 2026
4. Working Hours
8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays, excluding embassy holidays (lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM)
5. Salary
Determined based on embassy regulations according to academic background, experience, ability, etc.
