Official visit to the state of Melaka by Ambassador Takahashi

From 23rd to 25th August, Ambassador Takahashi and Madam Takahashi made an official visit to Melaka and paid courtesy calls on Tun Seri Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam，the Governor of Melaka, and YAB Datuk Seri Ab Rauf bin Yusoh, the Chief Minister of Melaka.
At the meetings, Ambassador Takahashi reaffirmed the long-standing cordial relations between Japan and Melaka. Both sides exchanged views on further cooperation in the fields of economy, education and culture.
Ambassador Takahashi and his wife visited the Kewpie Malaysia and saw the production process of halal-certified mayonnaise and dressings.
During the visit, they also met with the Japan Club of Melaka and expressed their appreciation for the positive roles the club has played as the bridges between Japan and Melaka.
