Signing ceremony for Official Security Assistance (OSA) FY2025

　On October 22nd, Ambassador SHIKATA Noriyuki and H.E. Mr. Mohd Yani bin Daud, Deputy Secretary General of Ministry of Defense of Malaysia, signed and exchanged notes for 3.1 billion yen in Official Security Assistance（OSA) FY2025 project.
　This project is to provide the Malaysian Armed Forces with a diving support vessel as well as equipment to support the activities of ASEAN observer team in the Cambodia–Thailand border areas. Japan will continue to strengthen the cooperation with Malaysia in the field of security through initiatives such as OSA and bilateral exercises under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
