On 5 June, Ambassador OKA paid a courtesy call on DATUK DR NOOR HISHAM ABDULLAH, Director General of Health Malaysia. Ambassador OKA expressed his admiration for Malaysia's efforts to deal with the covid-19 pandemic and briefed on the current situation and efforts including avoiding “3C”in Japan.
We agreed to further cooperate with each other in the future, not only bilaterally, but also within the framework of ASEAN, including efforts to establish an ASEAN Centre for Emerging Diseases and Public Health Emergencies.
