Ambassador Takahashi attended the 39th MAJECA-JAMECA Joint Conference

On August 1, 2022, Ambassador TAKAHASHI attended the 39th MAJECA-JAMECA Joint Conference. At the opening session of the conference, Ambassador TAKAHASHI delivered his opening address as well as Prime Minister KISHIDA`s congratulatory message.
The theme for the 39th Joint Conference was "Post-Pandemic Challenges and Emerging Opportunities for Malaysia and Japan," and was held in a face-to-face format for the first time in three years. Approximately 100 Japanese and Malaysian business leaders attended the joint conference. At the beginning of the conference, Senior Minister and Minister of International Trade and Industry, YB Dato’Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali also gave his opening address and delivered YAB Prime Minister Dato’Sri Ismail Sabri`s message. At the Plenary Sessions, panellists actively discussed on the development of digital infrastructure and services accelerated by the pandemic era. Overall, this joint conference was a great opportunity to meet and seek for any collaboration between business persons in both countries.
