Ambassador Oka paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Transport

On 14^th May, Ambassador Oka paid a courtesy call on YB Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, the Minister of Transport of Malaysia. During the meeting, Ambassador Oka stated Japan’s readiness to assist Malaysia in its fight against COVID-19. We also exchanged opinions on the handling of international driver’s license in Malaysia. Based on the excellent track record of wide-ranging cooperation between Japan and Malaysia in the transportation sector, both parties agreed to continue to contribute to further enhance cooperation in the sector.
