Holding the Women Empowerment Seminar

On 26 August 2022, the Embassy of Japan, together with Talent Corp and Asia School of Business, organized the Women Empowerment Seminar (Advancing Equality and Sustained Inclusive Growth) welcoming Ms. Tsukiko Tsukahara, Co-Representative, G20 EMPOWER Japan. This seminar was part of the LEP 40th anniversary event.
The purpose of the seminar was to exchange views with Japanese and Malaysian experts on women's economic empowerment (promotion of women's participation in the decision-making level, expansion of women's labor participation rate, etc.) and to promote the realization of gender equality and women's empowerment.
On the seminar, Minister KARIMATA delivered his opening remarks as this link:

Also Ms. Tsukahara made a keynote speech at the seminar, reflecting the latest discussion at the G20 Ministerial Conference on Women’s Empowerment in Bali.
