2025/8/4
On Thursday, July 31st, the Opening Ceremony of the 2nd International Nuclear Science Olympiad was held at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), where Minisiter NIHEI Daisuke attended from the Embassy.
This Olympiad forms part of the IAEA’s efforts to foster human resources in the field of nuclear science and technology. It represents a new global initiative in nuclear science education, aimed at promoting greater understanding of the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology.
This year marks the first time that a high school team from Japan is participating in the competition.
We sincerely wish for the success of the event and the best of luck to the Japanese team!
