Closing Ceremony of the 2nd International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO)

On Tuesday, August 5th, Minister Nihei Daisuke from the Embassy attended the closing ceremony of the 2nd International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO).
In this round of INSO held in Malaysia, theThe high school team representing Japan — Yunosuke Tanaka, Kazuma Tanabe, Koshiro Hori, and Yuzuka Sasaki — achieved remarkable results by winning one gold, two silver, one bronze medal, and also received the Special Award of “Highest Score in Experimental Examination” and “Outstanding Female Participant”.
We are truly proud of the team’s outstanding performance in this international competition, which aims to promote global understanding of the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology. Congratulations to Team Japan!
