Notice of Public Recruitment for Participants in the Cooking Skills Certification System Briefing and Cooking Demonstration for Japanese Cuisine in 2025

We are recruiting participants for the "Briefing on the Cooking Skills Certification System for Japanese Cuisine and Cooking Demonstration" to be held on September 18, 2025.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan (MAFF) established the "Guidelines for the Certification of Cooking Skills for Japanese Cuisine Overseas" in April 2016 to strengthen the overseas promotion of Japanese food and food culture.
This allows private organizations to voluntarily certify foreign Japanese cuisine chefs overseas who have reached a certain level of knowledge and cooking skills regarding Japanese cuisine.
Based on this , VIDA Corporation will be holding a briefing and cooking demonstration related to the certification system as per the schedule below in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The cooking demonstration will be conducted by Mr. Naoya Kawasaki, the master-chef of a popular sushi restaurant in the area and the Goodwill Ambassador for Japanese Cuisine.
We encourage those interested in Japanese cuisine and considering obtaining the cooking skills certification to participate actively.
※Please note that no certification will be issued; only the information session and demonstration will be held.
