Signing ceremony of the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects 2022

The Government of Japan has awarded the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects 2022 to the Negeri Sembilan Family Planning Association (NGO). The signing ceremony of the Grant Contract has been held at the residence of the Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia, H.E. Mr TAKAHASHI Katsuhiko.

Recipient：Negeri Sembilan Family Planning Association
Grant amount：USD 30,661 (equivalent to 136,750 Malaysian Ringgit)
Items：Procurement of Medical Devices
Purpose： The Negeri Sembilan Family Planning Association will utilize the grant totaling about 30,600 US dollars to replace old equipment used in their main clinic such as the sterilizer machine and to purchase a new Ultrasound machine and ESG machine to provide medical examinations to young people in the youth clinic. This will help improve the quality of medical services for local residents, especially low- and middle-income groups and the elderly.
