Signing ceremony of the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects 2024

The Government of Japan has awarded the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects 2024 to the Lost Food Project (NGO). The signing ceremony of the Grant Contract has been held at the residence of the Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia, H.E. Mr SHIKATA Noriyuki.
 
An overview of the project is given below.
 
<The Project for the Provision of Refrigerated Truck for Food Distribution for the Low-Income Household>
Recipient:The Lost Food Project
Grant amount:USD 94,979 (equivalent to 410,310 Malaysian Ringgit)
Items:Truck with refrigeration
Purpose:Distribution of fresh food and other food items to low-income people living in the Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan Area through the provision of two trucks with refrigeration facilities at the Lost Food Project in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, thereby improving food loss and contributing to healthy eating habits and livelihood stability for low-income people in the area. The project contributes to the improvement of food loss and the healthy diet and stability of life of low-income people in the region.
