Signing ceremony of the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects 2021

The Government of Japan has awarded the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects 2021 to the Food Aid Foundation (NGO). The signing ceremony of the Grant Contract has been held at the residence of the Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia, H.E. Mr TAKAHASHI Katsuhiko.
 
An overview of the project is given below.
 
<The Project for Procurement of Mobile Vehicles for Providing Food Assistance for the Low-income Household>
Recipient:Food Aid Foundation
Grant amount:USD 36,205 (equivalent to 149,454 Malaysian Ringgit)
Items:Food truck and Caravan
Purpose:The grant will be used to purchase mobile vehicles to distribute surplus food and cooked meals prepared by the NGO. This will enable the NGO to increase the frequency and efficiency of delivering surplus food and providing cooked meals to those in need especially in the B40 communities located in Klang Valley area.
