Foreign Minister’s Commendations Award Presentation - Associate Professor Kumaraguru A/L Ramayah & Mrs. Hasparina binti Abdul Ghafar

On November 11, the Embassy of Japan held an award ceremony to present the Foreign Minister‘s Commendation for FY 2021 to Associate Professor Kumaraguru A/L Ramayah of University Technology Malaysia (UTM) and Mrs. Hasparina binti Abdul Ghafar, Head of Japanese Language and Cultural Center, Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), in recognition of their contribution in promoting Japanese Language education in Malaysia.
In his speech, Ambassador Oka emphasized that Kumar Sensei and Hasparina Sensei played essential roles to educate and nurture future generations who will carry on the good relationship and friendship between Japan and Malaysia. Ambassador Oka also hoped that Kumar Sensei and Hasparina Sensei would continue to further promote Japanese language education in Malaysia
