Japan-Malaysia Ice Skating Exchange

Ms. Miki Ando, the former professional ice skater of two times World Champion 2007/2011, was invited from Japan from 12th to 14th April and “Japan-Malaysia Ice Skating Exchange” was held in celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Japan-Malaysia diplomatic relations.
On 12th April, a skating school for children and demonstration were held by Ms. Miki Ando and Mr. Julian Yee, Malaysia’s First Winter Olympic Ice Skater at Sunway Pyramid Ice, Selangor.
On 14th April, the same programme was also held at the ice rink of Paradigm Mall, Johor.
These events promoted the Ice Skating in Malaysia and strengthened friendly relations between Japan and Malaysia.
