Pre-Departure Programme for Japan Company Attachment Programme (JCAP) 2026

2026/7/23
On 16 July, the Pre-departure Programme for Japan Company Attachment Programme (JCAP) 2026 was held at the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN).

This program is a practical initiative under the Malaysian government’s “Look East Policy 2.0,” aimed at developing human resources in the Malaysian public sector and promoting people-to-people exchanges between Japan and Malaysia through training at advanced Japanese companies and organizations. This year’s training will take place in Malaysia in July and in Japan in August.

The Pre-departure Programme was attended by Dr. Wan Farisan bin Wan Sulaiman, Head of the Centre for Economics and Public Finance Studies, INTAN; Asst. Prof. Dr. Johari bin Mat, Senior Director of Centre for Continuing Education, UNIRAZAK; Mr. Tamil Chelvan, Managing Partner of IEG Campus; representatives from the Japanese companies and organizations providing the training; and Minister Nihei from the Japanese Embassy, who delivered words of encouragement to all participants.

We look forward to seeing this program further strengthen the bonds of friendship between Japan and Malaysia.
