The 16th Malaysian Japanese Speech Contest for Secondary School

The Embassy of Japan and the Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur co-hosted the 16th Malaysian Japanese Speech Contest for Secondary School on 20 April, 2019, at the Japan Club Kuala Lumpur. 12 secondary school contestants who made it through the preliminaries participated, and Madam Miyagawa and Ms Kurihara, Director of Japan Information Service, attended as the judges.
The contest is held annually to encourage learners of Japanese to deepen their knowledge of the language and to provide them an opportunity to show their talent and skills in the language acquired.
