Ambassador Shikata Attends the Signing Ceremony of MOA between TOYEIGHT and SeDidik

On 21st April, Ambassador SHIKATA Noriyuki attended the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between TOYEIGHT and SeDidik in Sarawak. SeDidik is an early childhood education provider operated under the Ministry of Women, Early Childhood and Community Well-being Development, Sarawak. The ceremony was also attended by the Minister, Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah Abdullah.
 
At the ceremony, it was announced that the digital developmental screening and intervention program developed by TOYEIGHT would be fully deployed across SeDidik preschools to ensure the early detection and necessary support of developmental delays in young children.
 
In his speech during the ceremony, Ambassador Shikata expressed his hope that this advanced inclusive education model, originating from Sarawak, would serve as a shining example for Japan, ASEAN countries and nations worldwide, while also strengthening the ties between Japan and Malaysia as a new form of cooperation between the public and private sectors aimed at tackling social challenges.
