On July 23rd, Ambassador Takahashi attended the JAAM-JSPS-ASM Joint Symposium. In his speech, Ambassador expressed his appreciation and gratitude to JSPS Alumni Association Malaysia (JAAM), Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) for organizing this important symposium, and encouraged the attendees to resolve various challenges Japan and Malaysia are facing through bilateral cooperation in the fields of science, technology and innovation.
The JAAM is an alumni organization among former JSPS fellows, aiming at forming and maintaining a network in Malaysia, with currently around 40 members.
