Ambassador TAKAHASHI attended the LEP 40 anniversary event hosted by CIAST

On 26th October, Ambassador TAKAHASHI attended the National TVET Instructor’s Seminar 2022 hosted by Centre for Instructor and Advanced Skill Training (CIAST). This event is also to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy.
CIAST is the only vocational training institute for TVET instructors under the Skills development Department, Ministry of Human Resources, located in Shah Alam, Selangor. The Government of Japan has supported CIAST in various ways, including grant assistance for its establishment and dispatch of experts for technology transfer via JICA.
The event was officiated by YBrs. Mrs. Hajah Zuleah binti Darsong, Director of CIAST and YBrs. Ts. Dr. Mohamad bin Sulaiman, Director General of Skills development Department, Ministry of Human Resources and many TVET instructors attended the event.
At the opening ceremony, Mrs. Zuleah and Dr. Mohamad introduced CIAST's accomplishments to date, and appreciated the Government of Japan and JICA for their past support for the establishment and operation of CIAST. Ambassador TAKAHASHI congratulated CIAST on its great success, and expressed his hope for further cooperation with CIAST based on the Look East Policy.
