Signing ceremony of the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects 2021

The Government of Japan has awarded the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects 2021 to the Selangor Cheshire Home and Services (NGO). The signing ceremony of the Grant Contract has been held at the residence of the Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia, H.E. Mr TAKAHASHI Katsuhiko.
 
An overview of the project is given below.
 
The project for Renovation of the Sewing and Handicraft Workshop
Recipient:Selangor Cheshire Home and Services
Grant amount:USD 56,565 (equivalent to 233,500 Malaysian Ringgit)
Items:Renovation Fee for the Sewing and Handicraft Workshop
Purpose:The grant will be used to renovate the existing sewing and handicraft workshop located near Batu Caves. The sewing and handicraft workshop will be used for conducting training to persons with disabilities; making the workshop better equipped and, enable the NGO to accommodate more participants.
