International organization staff lecture

On February 25, Dr. TANAKA Taketo (dispatched as a JPO* to the WHO Malaysia Office) gave a lecture in junior high school career education at the Japanese School in Kuala Lumpur. In the lecture, he talked about not only his history as a physician but also the background of the decision to become a staff of an international organization, the necessary skills to become an international organization, and measures against infectious diseases that can be done by themselves and the students listened eagerly.
* The JPO(Junior Professional Officer) dispatch system is a system in which international organizations accept young human resources subject to the cost burden of governments of each country. Through this system, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs gives young Japanese under 35 years of experience working in international organizations for two years in principle.
